Professional Whole-Home Insulation Solutions in the Phoenix Metro Area
Are you paying much more than your neighbor when it comes to your energy bill? Many homeowners are surprised to find out that their neighbors in a similarly sized home are paying significantly less to cool and heat their home. The reason? Insulation.
Your indoor comfort level and how much energy you use is largely tied to the insulation in your home. Poorly insulated homes are more likely to experience greater air loss and contribute to long-term discomfort.
Older properties (and many new ones as well) are often lacking in proper insulation. Our experts at Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation are here to help guide you through the best solution for your home. We will take the time to assess your needs, identify problem areas, and go over the options we believe will provide you with the best results while taking into account your specific needs and budget.

Discuss Your Options With Our Phoenix Insulation Specialists
Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation is prepared to help you through every step of the insulation process. This includes discussing the different insulation materials and techniques. Some of the types of insulation we can provide for you include blown-in cellulose and fiberglass, as well as dense-packed insulation.
Blown-In Cellulose Insulation
With the blown-in technique, we will use specialized equipment to blow the insulation into place. This method is ideal for hard to reach areas, unfinished attics, and existing wall spaces.
Both cellulose and fiberglass are similar in cost and are made with highly sustainable materials. Our cellulose offerings, in particular, are manufactured right here in the Valley–in Chandler, AZ, by United Fibers.
Blown Fiberglass Insulation
Installing new insulation saves energy each month and for many years to come. It creates a thermal barrier between the interior and exterior of your home. Basement, wall, and attic insulation has a high R-value (thermal resistance) and helps maintain even temperatures throughout your home, even during Phoenix heat waves.
Blown fiberglass is an appealing choice for many homeowners because it prevents vapor movement in walls to colder surfaces. Fiberglass has a similar cost to cellulose insulation and is tidy to install because it doesn’t generate much dust.
Dense Pack Insulation
Another method of installing insulation is through dense packing. This technique involves blowing cellulose or fiberglass at a high pressure into your walls or ceiling, and can be done either from the interior or exterior of your home. It is also a great option for insulating flat roof homes where there is no accessible attic space. When done right, the dense pack technique is less invasive than removing all of your drywall to apply the insulation. Instead, 3″-4″ holes are cut in each bay and insulation is “dense packed” in at a specific density in order to obtain the highest R-value possible without causing your wall or ceiling cavity to bow or “blow out”. This is one of the best ways to insulate your home when wall or ceiling cavities are not easily accessible and the cavities don’t have any existing insulation in them to begin with.

Need to Remove Old Insulation From Your Phoenix Home?
The insulation in your home can become damaged over time due to leaks, pests, fire, or simply old age. Why should you consider removing old insulation? Insulation is rated according to thermal resistance (R-value). If your insulation gets wet, or burned, or suffers from other damage, it loses its R-value and becomes less efficient at keeping your home comfortable.
You will need to have existing insulation removed before installing new insulation material. Our experts at Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation can help you safely and efficiently remove old or damaged insulation, and are happy to discuss your options for new insulating material.
